The compensation one is such bullshit. They just blame the airport and then no one gets anything

Well done, it’s about time passengers had a fair deal.

Last month, I flew back from Los Angeles to Hannover, I arrived at LAX and found out my flight from Munich to Hannover was cancelled only by noticing my luggage tag was only going to Munich. Fortunately I found an extremely helpful counter person who was able to get me to Frankfurt then Hannover. When I got home I went to Lufthansa website and filled our form for late or cancelled flight. I expected nothing. I received an email 3 days later that said I would be receiving a €600 transfer to my bank… don’t ask me how, but the system worked

It will be interesting to see how the airlines manage to sit people with children together when they haven't booked particular seats, and other passengers have booked them and paid extra for them, all around the aircraft.

I think it bugs me that people traveling with minors will have preferred treatment - if they must be seated side by side they should but a ticket on a flight where’s available instead of making undue and undeserved accommodations to people that love to take advantage of systems and loopholes to get their way.
