San Marino’s footballers sparked incredulous and hilarious scenes in a Norwegian TV studio when they scored an unlikely equaliser in Oslo on Tuesday night.
When Mattia Stefanelli cancelled out the home side’s early lead with a rare way goal in the 54th minute, the Verdens Gang tabloid’s TV team lost the plot.

It was San Marino’s first away goal in World Cup qualifier since 2001.
The game finished 4-1 after the home side banged in three late goals to spare the nation's blushes.
