San Marino's footballers sparked incredulous and hilarious scenes in a Norwegian TV studio when they scored an unlikely equaliser in Oslo on Tuesday night.

When Mattia Stefanelli cancelled out the home side's early lead with a rare way goal in the 54th minute, the Verdens Gang tabloid's TV team lost the plot.

Watch as the tiny principality's striker plunges the pundits into a Dantean hell.

It was San Marino's first away goal in World Cup qualifier since 2001.

The game finished 4-1 after the home side banged in three late goals to spare the nation's blushes.
