Norwegian extreme balancing artist Eskil Rønningsbakken has performed his terrifying 'human flag' stunt over a 275-meter waterfall without safety equipment.

The 35-year-old, who is renowned for his precise, perilous stunts, suspended his entire 85kg body out over the Vettisfossen waterfall earlier this May.

He made his name 2001 by balancing over Pulpit Rock outside Stavanger and has since gone on to perform ever more dramatic balancing acts, at one time walking a tightrope between two hot air balloons in mid-flight.
