Norway drops out of Fifa top 50
Norway has dropped out of list of the world's top 50 national football teams ranked by Fifa, the international football body, after losses in November against Denmark and Scotland.
The country dropped from 47th to 54th place when Fifa updated the rankings on Thursday, putting it behind such mediocre footballing nations such as Montenegro, Paraguay and the Cape Verde Islands. Norway has been plummeting down the ranking since starting this year in 24th place. At the end of 2010, the Norwegian team hit a high point, making 12th place worldwide.
