Ski star voted Norway's sexiest man

The downhill skier Aksel Lund Svindal has been voted Norway's sexiest man by the Norwegian Elle Magazine.
"He's tough, handsome, charming, clever, and it's in fact terribly strange that his smile has not melted the snow on every mountain he's ever set foot on," Elle Norway's editor Signy Fardal said in an article announcing the choice. She said that Svindal had finally risen to lead her magazine's ranking, from the top ten where he has lingered for many years, because he was now single. Svindal was followed by Tobias Santelmann, the star of the film Kon Tiki, while last year's sexiest man, the actor Jakob Oftebro fell to ninth place.
