Surge in weapons seizures down to toy
A seemingly alarming surge in seizures of illegal weapons in Norway has been attributed to a single delivery of high-end toy catapults.
Norwegian customs reported seizing 906 illegal weapons in the first half of this year, a massive surge on the 19 weapons seized in the same period last year. But, according to TV2, most of the rise comes down to a package of 800 illegal catapults seized on its way to a shop in Oslo.
