The duo, who go by the names Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker, put together their brilliant take-off of manufactured pop to promote the new season of their talk show on TV Norge.
But it seems set to win a much, much larger audience. The song has received two million hits in just three days, and it's been tipped for 'song of the summer' by the Gawker website.
That may be stretching it a bit, not least because there's not much summer left in Norway. But it's very entertaining.
