The Local's Richard Orange gets activists from the three main parties to say what they could do for foreigners living and working in the country (although, unless you're a Norwegian citizen, you won't actually be able to vote).
Karl Johans Gate in election season is a hearteningly democratic place. Veteran activists and young hopefuls of every political stripe man the party kiosks that flank the square in front of the Stortinget, gently engaging passers-by in debate in the hope of swaying a few voters their way.
