A Norwegian celebrity has been sent to hospital after falling off an ostrich while filming for a popular television show.
According to Dagbladet newspaper, Anne Rimmen, the sports anchor for state channel NRK, took the tumble during filming for the programme "Late Night with Thomas and Harald".
She mounted the bird's neck only for it to bolt forward, throwing her off after a short high-speed sprint.
"It's true what you say and it occurred during a "Late Night" Duel," Rimmen told Dagbladet. "I feel better now."
Program editor Bård Eriksen told the paper that he had taken all possible precautions and regretted what had happened.
"We are very sorry that Rimmen fell during the recording, and hope she will soon feel completely well again," he said.
