If you thought InterRail was all about trains - well you would almost be right - but many journeys also involve ferries. Now, to mark the 40th anniversary of the InterRail Pass, travellers are taking to the water.

Party across the Adriatic with InterRail

The milestone is being celebrated aboard the Attica Group’s Superfast VI ferry from Ancona in Italy to Patras in Greece. Setting sail on 18th September and arriving the following afternoon, the boat will be packed with InterRailers having fun around the pool as DJ Antoine Kesetzis from Soundworks takes care of the music. The event is being organized by Eurail Group GIE in cooperation with Attica Group and InterRailnet.com.

InterRail Global Pass holders are eligible to come on the trip. Attica Group and Eurail Group (the management & marketing organization of InterRail Passes) will pay port taxes and seasonal charges - and throw in a free drink. There will also be a 10 percent discount on food and drinks. Sleeping places are free for first class pass holders or can be booked for half price for second class pass holders - but if you just want  to party all night or stay on the deck for free, well, that’s fine too.

To book one of the limited number of places, RSVP to the event on Facebook or send Maria Kalimeri from Attica Group an email: [email protected]
