Norway pair’s backpack adventure a viral hit
A Norwegian man’s video chronicling his travels around the world with his girlfriend is quickly picking up steam on YouTube.
Johan Kaos and Ida Kvammen Mork are a Norwegian couple with wanderlust.
The two recently went on a backpacking trip that took them through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia. Not content to just send postcards, Kaos instead put together a video of the entire journey which shows him following Mork around during their exotic adventures.
Starting with a shot of Kaos lounging on the couch and watching TV, the video shows the couple head to Oslo Airport before trekking around the world over the next four minutes:
The video has been seen over 400,000 times since it was posted to YouTube two weeks ago and has also begun making the rounds on Norwegian news sites.
Other than the occasional shot of his arm, filmmaker Kaos hardly appears in the video, leading one YouTube commenter to say he would regret his filming technique.
“When you guys break up you're going to wish you had some vacation footage without your ex in all of the shots,” the user wrote.
Kaos however said that the two were now married and posted this, shall we say, unconventional wedding photo.
