A Norwegian comedy duo have created a brilliantly cut video love song to British film actor Hugh Grant, in which they make themselves appear in some of his most famous scenes.

If you swooned in Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) or your heart went out to the love-sick book shop owner in Notting Hill (1999), then Goodbye Pants' new video is for you.

In 'Hugh', Stian Blipp and Anders Nilsen, most famous for their Cowboy spoof Flowers on the Moon, watch on in admiration through a sequence of scenes from Hugh Grant films.

"You've been in some trouble hey, but I don't care at all. I'd still marry you four times and attend your funeral," the song goes. "I hear your whoopsidaisies and it always pulls me through."

"Hugh, I wanna see you all the time. Who can you resist when you're the Prime?" they sing in the chorus.

"Hugh, charming wits and winning smile. Hugh, blue eyes just like the sky."

When Norway's 730.no entertainment site asked the duo why they had chosen to make a tribute to Hugh Grant, their response was simple.

"We say, why would you NOT make a song about Hugh Grant?".
